Yamaha has launched the 2021 Yamaha FZS-FI V3. This variant now gets smartphone connectivity as standard across all color variants. It debuted at FZS-FI Dark Knight in October 2020
In addition to the new feature, the 2021 FZS-F1 also gets a new matte red color, as well as a more premium 3D logo on the fuel tank. You can read all about it in our launch report here.
The new FZS-FI with Blue Core Concept is now “Side Stand Engine Cutoff Switch” with 149 Side Engine and “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” with Bluetooth. The FZS-FI has a compression ratio of 9.6: 1 and a maximum of 12.4 PS power @ 7,250 r / min and 13.3 Nm torque @ 5,500 r / min with single-channel ABS with front disc brake & negative LCD with the rear wheel. Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Features
Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth connectivity is now offered as standard in FZS-FI, while customers can opt for it with the base FZ range at a premium of Rs 3,000. The app offers ride telemetry with security features such as Ever and Hammer lamp functions, such as average speed, battery voltage, and distance. Other notable features include single-channel ABS, a negative LCD instrument cluster, and disc brakes at both ends with a single piece to level seat. The FZS-FI gets a reduced engine fairing to reduce sludge and dirt splash. The negative LCD instrument cluster is equipped with ECO indicators to enable more efficient riding.
Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Engine
The new FZS-FI model mounts an air-cooled 4stroke 149cc SOHC, 2valve, single-cylinder Fulinated “BLUE CORE” engine, and the engine settings optimize the sense of better acceleration from a stop and great feel when overtaking. The ignition timing and injection maps for the fuel injection system were completely redesigned to give riders a good feel for the boom, while still enjoying the side back, upright riding conditions.
Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Suspension & Brake
This provides an excellent shock boring performance and a good sense of stability during braking. The rear suspension is a lightweight motocross suspension unit that contributes to mass centralization and provides wheel travel of 120 mm, making for a good balance between spring rate and soaking force.
The front disc with Bosch antilock braking system (ABS) helps achieve better braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds. Rear disc brakes add more quality to the long heritage of the FZS-F1 braking system.
Inbuilt side stand engine cutoff switch
The days you ride without your side stand are behind you. With the inbuilt side stand engine cutoff switch, you can be sure that you don’t forget to remove the side stand during those immediate rides.
140mm Wide Radial Tire
The 100/8017 forwards and 140/6017 radial tires at the rear provides low rolling resistance and provides good fuel economy and good grip.

Comfortable Two Live ll Seat
The to-level seat has an excellent sense of fit and cushioning that works well with an upright, relaxed riding position. The cushioning material has a suitable degree of firmness and is paired with a seat material that provides a fantastic fit for both the rider and pillion rider to provide a stable ride and comfort. The Pillion seat has a large 16% seating surface area, is 26 mm wide in the hip area, and is 5 mm thick for extra comfort.
Chrome duct plating with 3d symbol
Shiny chrome plating in selected parts creates a premium, exclusive image and enhances the motorcycle’s street presence. The 3D emblem enhances the bike’s premium look.
Led headlight
The new LED headlight provides excellent visibility over a wide range with very little disparity. It uses a reflector with ideal light projection, and separate bulbs for high and low beams.
Advanced Midship Muffler & Enhanced Muffler Sound
A midship muffler is adopted, with its advantages of mass concentration, weight loss, and shorter length. The newly designed muffler protector further adds the impression of sharpness. The muffler sound is redesigned.
Negative LCD Instrument Cluster
The negative LCD instrument cluster panel has a black background and white lettering. The digital speedometer, bar-style tachometer above, and a fuel gauge are displayed continuously, along with the ABS warning lamp while the odometer, trip 1, trip 2, f trip, clock, and others can be selected for display. There is also an ECO indicator to enable more efficient riding.
Under the cowl
Lower engine fairing has been introduced to reduce the splash of sludge and dirt. The under-cowl is designed to enhance the sporty look of the bike.

Yamaha FZS-FI V3 Rivals

The changes, however, are limited to the updates indicated above.
